What do we do in AVID?
- Relational Capacity: Learn how to collaborate and build trust with my AVID family by working with others, collaborating on projects together, and becoming an efficient team member.
- Opportunity Knowledge: We will research colleges, learn about specific careers that interest students, attend college field trips, and plan our dream futures.
- Tutorials: Work collaboratively with your group to address points of confusion from your content classes.
- Study Skills: Learn and develop habits that will help you succeed academically, such as focused note-taking.
- Digital Literacy: Learn how to utilize digital tools to learn and create, as well as share our digital projects with our school community.
Mission Statement: AVID aims to close the opportunity gap by preparing students for college and success in a global society.
